Panama's major industries are - construction, petroleum refining, brewing, cement and other construction materials,
sugar milling. Panama's economy has become largely a tourism bussiness place. About a quarter of the land is used for farming. Cattle
are grazed and farmers grow crops such as rice, sugarcane, cocoa, and coffee are grown. Bananas are also popular.
Bananas are the leading export, followed by shrimp and fish products, sugar, clothing, and coffee. Manufactured goods, raw
materials, and foodstuffs are imported by sea. Most of the resources comes from the nearby supply of water.
