 One of the National Holidays: Independence Day, 3 November
 The independence day started in 1821 when Panama declared indepence from Spain. In 1903, Panama declared independence from Columbia.
 The traditional dance is named Tamborito and popular music is the salsa. Christmas is a very celebrated holiday and it starts at Dec. 8 to Epiphany (kings day). It celebrates the birth of Jesues.
